38 years professional experience in communicating scientific concepts to the public through supervising an international program of public information and news services, science writing for a variety of media, conceptualization of astronomical animation and illustration in planetariums and for news media,. Broad experience in developing and teaching formal and informal educational programs, courses, and seminars.

Science EducationDevelop and teach a variety of courses and public seminars on science topics. Audiences range from college level classes to continuing education and science enrichment programs, and public seminars and lectures. Over 24 years of college classroom teaching experience. This has been invaluable in building a broad and skill set for meeting public informational needs in science communication.
Science Museum OutreachWrote and produced public planetarium programs for a major and innovative planetariums. Planned, scripted and executed complex audiovisual programs on topics in astronomy. Pioneered innovative planetarium imaging display technology, the precursor of today’s all-dome video system. Developed elementary school and high school educational programs for use in the planetarium and science museum environment. Wrote numerous freelance planetarium programs for major theaters.
